Pitch 3 ideas for your Action Shot

For the first class, you should bring 3 ideas for your shot.

Action Shot Criteria

  1. Duration: Your shot must not exceed 10 seconds.

  2. Character Limit: Your scene can include a maximum of 2 characters.

  3. Single Shot/One Cut: You will create one shot for the entire trimester. The shot can have one cut if it enhances the idea and layout of the action.

  4. Simple Camera: It is highly recommended to design an action shot where the camera remains as simple as possible, with minimal movement.

 

Delivery For the First Class

WHEN: 1 hour before the class

HOW:

  1. You can express each idea through different media, such as text, video reference, drawings, Maya playblast, etc.

  2. Each material needs to be edited for your presentation. For example, if you bring a video reference, it needs to be as long as the shot (including cuts and alternatives).

  3. Upload your material.

    • Every media can be upload them on Syncsketch under Week 1.

    • Every other material can be uploaded on the Drive Folder. Please under your class name create a folder with your name where you can upload your material.

  4. Name in convention: please use this format for your files:

    nickname_description_v01(versione).format
